RCS Individual
Allows true single-card entry to sites. An RCS card makes a contractor's or service provider's qualifications and proofs of competence accessible with one card.
Register as a verifier and with their permission and card details you may access any RCS cardholder's details at rcscard.co.uk. Alternatively, scan their RCS card barcode with a smartphone (using RCS App) or RCS barcode scanner and instantly display the cardholder's qualifications and competences on your smartphone, PC or Mac. You may access RCS Individual from any standard internet browser - no additional software is required.
RCS becomes even more powerful when cardholder information is integrated using the RCS Company and RCS Access modules. As a verifier you may use the services delivered by RCS Individual completely FREE of charge.

Single card access
You must provide proof of your qualifications and competences to carry out work for a growing number of contractors and organisations in the public and private sectors. Many are recognising that they have a duty in law to check and verify the competences of the people working on their premises. Trade qualifications and health and safety training, professional qualifications, certificates and memberships can collectively demonstrate the cardholder’s competences.
Using an RCS card you can provide instant proof of your qualifications and competences to anyone with access to the internet. This single card access to sites is especially useful to tradespeople who may have to demonstrate a range of competences. For example electricians, plumbers and joiners may be required to demonstrate competence to erect scaffolding, act as a first-aider, have awareness of asbestos dangers, or work in confined spaces.
Cardholder subscriptions
Join as an individual cardholder and you can immediately begin using the card and enjoys RCS member benefits. For an individual card there is a one-off application fee of £10.00 plus VAT*, this contributes to processing and return postage of your certificates and RCS card.
We will collect your subscription payments of £2.80 plus VAT each month by direct debit. If you join as part of an organisation or company scheme your membership fees may be paid for you by your employer. Please visit the 'RCS Company' section of this website for details.

To issue your RCS card we must receive from you: two recent (taken in the last 3 months) passport photographs, a good quality colour copy of your photo ID (e.g. driving licence or passport), your original qualification certificates, good quality colour copies of any trade skills cards (front and back) you wish to include, original proof of your current address (such as a recent utility bill), and your application fee.
Your certificates and documents will be returned by recorded delivery as soon as we have processed them. Your RCS card will follow within 20 working days. Urgent applications will be processed and cards sent out within 10 working days.
