RCS Card

As the client (or verifier) RCS Company allows you to create and set your own prequalification and post-appointment criteria - as your 'My Minimum Standards' (MMS). These then apply to the contractors and service providers working on your site. Your specified criteria and performance levels could for example apply to:

  • Contractors' insurance details
  • insurance cover levels and policy expiry dates
  • Health and safety policy statements
  • Health and safety performance and RIDDOR statistics
  • Waste transfer licences
  • Environmental policy statements
  • Equality and diversity policy statements
  • Quality systems certificates
  • Industry accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, SAFEcontractor, Achilles, NICEIC, NAPIT, ECA, Gas Safe, etc)

RCS Company automatically monitors contractors' and service providers' information and compares them to your predetermined MMS. You can see instantly those contractors and service providers that meet, or are failing to meet, the standards that you have set.

As a contractor or service provider RCS Company enables you to store your corporate credentials and make them available online to your clients and prospective clients. RCS Company addresses the full spectrum of information and corporate credentials often required by clients at prequalification stage and monitored post-appointment.

The comprehensive range of corporate information made available by RCS Company simplifies the prequalification process and effectively eliminates the need for prequalification questionnaires.

RCS Company module services are available FREE for verifiers to use.

Reduces administration costs

An increasing number of organisations and contractors are recognising they have a duty in law to check the qualifications and competences of individuals sent to their premises or sites to carry out work. From trade qualifications to health and safety they have a responsibility to ensure that your employees are competent to do their job, along with the other requirements this may involve. For example, if yours is an electrical company employing a qualified electrician they may also need to be competent to erect a scaffold tower, act as a nominated first-aider, work in confined spaces and be aware of the dangers where asbestos is present.

With the growing awareness of their duties more organisations and contractors are insisting that proof of competence is provided before work can commence. This often means the contracted company spends much time scanning, faxing or sending by email, details of numerous cards and certificates of its employees to demonstrate their competence to carry out the work. Many organisations refuse to accept copies meaning that employees must carry their original certificates risking damage or loss.

With a single card the Reset Certification Scheme delivers ALL the information required to work. The qualifications and competences of your employees can be verified immediately they hand over their cards to the requesting organisation or contractor. By visiting our website they can access proof of ID and verified copies of original certificates.

The card number and security information can be passed by telephone or email, similar to a credit card, allowing remote verification in advance of an employee arriving on site.

The Reset Certification Scheme saves you time. With one card get your employees into their workplace more efficiently – increasing productivity.

Maintains your training records

With the Reset Certification Scheme all employee qualifications and supporting documents are held securely in one place. We update these details whenever an employee gains a new qualification and or adds to their competences – free, as part of our service.

We will automatically remind you and your employees when any time-sensitive qualification, such as PASMA or IPAF, is soon to expire. This ensures that only appropriately qualified employees will be sent to work for your customers and clients, and it also helps maintain your training records.

Your customers and clients will appreciate your assistance in verifying the competence of employees you are sending to their premises. Being a member of the Reset Certification Scheme shows your commitment to helping them.
